Passions
Sports have always been a huge part of my life. Participating in different sports and competitions has taught me many important lessons and skills. I am fortunate to lead several teams in matches, and I have learned vital communication skills.
Intramural Sport
I am fortunate to lead the intramural Coed basketball team during my first and second university years. Communication and leadership are extra important in a team sport, especially when facing tough opponents. I have been fortunate to have those fantastic teammates.
Cross Country
I have been fortunate to lead my High School's cross-country and Track teams in my Junior and Senior years. Cross Country has changed my perspectives by challenging myself and preserving through hardships. The leadership experience helped me understand how to bring morale up even during the hardest and rainest races.
Traveling
Traveling is also a kind of sport, at least in my opinion. I had to walk miles to visit places I wanted to see and made many unexpected friendships. Different cultures always inspire me.
