Inline 4 Cylinder Engine
This is a fun project I decided to work on during my reading week. As a member of UT Formula Racing, I always want to learn more about automobiles. There is nowhere better to start than the heart of the vehicle - the engine—the curiosity combined with the drive to practice SolidWorks results in this project. This project has helped me with engineering design process.

Animation of the Engine
Here is the animation of the four-cylinder engine minus the engine block. The motion transmission from rotational to linear is illustrated well in this animation.

Crankshaft
The crankshaft is the more challenging part of the whole design. It required a few hours of learning before I was able to design and assemble it on SolidWorks.

Piston
This is my favorite part of the assembly. I was able to machine a small piston while learning about the machining process. This part is relatively simple and straight forward.

Inline 4 Engine
Here si the complete assembly of the inline-four engine. It serves as a passion project and a great learning opportunity for SolidWorks.
